Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tripety, including our website, account features, trip planning tools, saved trips, uploaded content, budget tools, packing tools, subscription features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using Tripety, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About Tripety
Tripety is a digital travel planning and organization platform. It helps users save trip details, organize itineraries, manage packing lists, estimate budgets, and use travel-related tools.
Tripety is not a travel agency, airline, hotel, tour operator, booking provider, insurance provider, government agency, legal advisor, medical advisor, financial advisor, immigration advisor, or tax advisor.
Tripety is a planning tool only. You are responsible for verifying all important travel information before relying on it.
2. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Tripety and for any travel decisions you make.
Tripety may display, organize, estimate, or help generate travel-related information, but you must verify important details directly with official or primary sources, including airlines, hotels, government websites, transportation providers, booking platforms, embassies, travel insurance providers, medical professionals, and other direct sources.
This includes, but is not limited to, verifying flight times, hotel reservations, transportation schedules, passport requirements, visa requirements, entry rules, health requirements, customs rules, tourist taxes, local taxes, baggage rules, weather conditions, safety conditions, prices, fees, availability, cancellation rules, and travel restrictions.
3. Accounts
Some Tripety features require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your login information secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us at info@tripety.com.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the platform, create security risks, interfere with the Service, or create legal or operational risk for Tripety.
4. Account Creation and Third-Party Authentication
You may create an account using an email address and password, or by authenticating through a third-party provider such as Google Sign-In.
If you authenticate through a third-party provider, Tripety may receive certain account information from that provider, such as your name, email address, profile photograph, and account identifier. This information is used to create and manage your Tripety account.
Regardless of the method used to create your account, you are required to agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy before your account is created and before you may access the Service. Account creation will not be completed until you provide this acknowledgment.
Your use of any third-party authentication provider is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
5. Electronic Consent and Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive communications from Tripety electronically, including by email, website notice, account notice, and in-service message.
You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, receipts, confirmations, updates, and other communications provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, including the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act), 15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.
You are responsible for keeping the email address associated with your account current.
6. Terms Acceptance, Versioning, and Consent Records
When creating an account, you are required to affirmatively agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy before your account is activated.
Tripety maintains records of user acceptance for legal compliance and dispute resolution purposes. These records may include user identifier, timestamp (UTC), IP address, user agent, Terms version, Privacy Policy version, consent type, and authentication method.
Previous versions of these Terms may be made available upon request.
If Tripety updates these Terms, you may be required to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service. Continued use of Tripety after updated Terms are posted or accepted constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
Records of terms acceptance and consent are retained independently of account data and may be preserved after account deletion for legal, compliance, and dispute-resolution purposes.
7. User Content
Tripety may allow you to enter, upload, save, or store trip information, notes, files, documents, images, reservations, itineraries, packing items, budget information, preferences, and other content (“User Content”).
You remain responsible for your User Content. Do not upload anything illegal, harmful, infringing, misleading, malicious, private information belonging to another person, or anything you do not have the right to use.
Tripety may remove, restrict, or disable access to User Content that violates these Terms, creates legal risk, creates security risk, exceeds storage limits, or interferes with the Service.
8. User Content License
You retain ownership of the User Content you upload, enter, or save in Tripety.
By using Tripety, you grant Tripety LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (solely to service providers operating on Tripety's behalf), transferable license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, back up, cache, modify for technical purposes, and otherwise use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, protect, support, and administer the Service.
This license includes technical uses such as backups, caching, content delivery, database migration, security review, troubleshooting, customer support, anonymized and aggregated analytics, and infrastructure operations.
This license continues for as long as your User Content remains stored in the Service, and for a reasonable period thereafter as needed to complete deletion, remove cached copies, and process backups through normal retention cycles.
Tripety does not claim ownership of your User Content.
9. No Backup or Archival Obligation
Tripety is not a backup, archival, emergency storage, or permanent storage service.
Users are solely responsible for maintaining their own copies of any content, files, trip information, reservations, documents, itineraries, or data they upload, enter, or save to Tripety.
Tripety does not guarantee that User Content will be stored, retained, recoverable, or available indefinitely.
Tripety is not liable for loss of User Content for any reason, including technical failure, account deletion, account inactivity, service changes, security incidents, third-party outages, maintenance, migration, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
10. Data Export
Tripety may provide tools that allow users to export or download certain trip information.
Users are responsible for using any available export tools before deleting an account, canceling a subscription, or relying on Tripety as the only place where important information is stored.
Tripety does not guarantee that all content or data will be exportable in every format.
11. Uploaded Content Limits
Tripety may impose limits on the types, sizes, quantity, and storage duration of files, images, documents, or other content uploaded to the Service.
Tripety may remove or restrict content that exceeds storage limits, creates security or performance issues, violates these Terms, or creates legal or operational risk.
Permitted file types, storage limits, and upload limits may change at any time.
12. Account Inactivity
Tripety may delete, archive, restrict, or disable accounts that have been inactive for 24 months or more.
Before deleting or disabling an inactive account, Tripety will make reasonable efforts to provide notice to the email address associated with the account at least 30 days before deletion.
Tripety is not responsible for loss of data from inactive accounts.
13. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellations
Tripety may offer free and paid plans. The current annual paid subscription price is $29 USD per year unless a different price is shown at checkout.
Paid plan pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, and included features will be shown before purchase.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Tripety does not directly store full credit card numbers.
By subscribing, you authorize recurring annual charges of $29 USD per year, or the amount shown at checkout, processed by Stripe or another payment provider.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date. You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the next billing date if you do not want to be charged again.
If a payment fails at renewal, Tripety may attempt to process the charge again, notify you at the email address associated with your account, or suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved.
Unless required by law, subscription payments are generally non-refundable after they are processed.
14. Refund Requests
Tripety may issue refunds, credits, or other accommodations at its sole discretion.
To request a refund, contact info@tripety.com and include the email address associated with your account, the charge date, and the reason for the request.
Tripety will make reasonable efforts to review refund requests within 10 business days. Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
Providing a refund in one situation does not require Tripety to provide refunds in other situations.
15. Subscription Refunds After Discontinuation
If Tripety permanently discontinues the paid Service, Tripety may, at its sole discretion, provide a prorated refund, credit, or other accommodation for unused prepaid subscription time remaining after discontinuation.
Tripety is not required to provide refunds, credits, or other remedies upon discontinuation except as required by applicable law.
16. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have a billing issue, you agree to contact Tripety first at info@tripety.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank, card issuer, or payment provider instead of contacting Tripety first, Tripety may suspend or restrict your account while the dispute is pending.
Tripety reserves the right to recover reasonable fees, costs, or losses caused by improper or bad-faith chargebacks, to the extent allowed by law.
17. Third-Party Links and Services
Tripety may link to third-party websites, travel providers, booking platforms, affiliate partners, advertisers, or other services.
Tripety is not responsible for third-party websites, bookings, purchases, prices, availability, cancellations, refunds, policies, errors, customer service, or content.
Any booking, purchase, cancellation, refund request, customer service request, or dispute with a third party is between you and that third party.
18. Affiliate Links
Some links on Tripety may be affiliate links. Tripety may earn a commission if you click a link and make a booking or purchase, at no extra cost to you.

19. AI and Experimental Features
Tripety may offer AI-assisted, automated, beta, preview, or experimental features.
These features may generate suggestions, estimates, summaries, itineraries, packing ideas, travel guidance, budgets, or other content. AI-generated or automated content may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific trip.
You are responsible for independently verifying important information before relying on it.
Beta, preview, experimental, or AI-assisted features are provided as-is, without any warranty of any kind, may change at any time, and may be modified, limited, or discontinued without notice.
20. Service Availability, Suspension, and Discontinuation
Tripety does not provide any service level agreement, uptime guarantee, or availability commitment.
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. Tripety LLC may modify, suspend, limit, interrupt, or permanently discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice.
If Tripety permanently discontinues the Service, Tripety will make reasonable efforts to provide notice to registered users at the email address associated with their account. However, Tripety does not guarantee any specific notice period before suspension or discontinuation.
Upon suspension or discontinuation of the Service, Tripety has no obligation to maintain, export, return, transfer, or preserve User Content, account data, saved trips, files, itineraries, packing lists, budget information, or other data stored in the Service, except as required by applicable law.
Tripety LLC will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, inconvenience, or claim resulting from modification, suspension, interruption, outage, or discontinuation of the Service, including loss of access, loss of User Content, loss of saved trips, loss of subscription time, or loss of account information.
21. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Tripety for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes
- Access or attempt to access another user's account
- Upload malware, harmful files, or malicious code
- Interfere with the website or Service
- Scrape, harvest, copy, or collect data without permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attack, overload, or misuse the platform
- Upload content that violates another person's rights
- Use Tripety in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, payment requirements, or access controls
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam
22. Responsible Security Disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to info@tripety.com.
You agree not to exploit, publicly disclose, access other users' data, disrupt the Service, or test systems beyond what is necessary to report the issue in good faith.
Tripety may investigate and address reported vulnerabilities at its discretion.
23. User-to-User Interactions
Tripety may allow users to share, collaborate, invite others, or interact through certain features.
Tripety is not responsible for user-to-user interactions, communications, shared content, conduct, fraud, harassment, or disputes between users.
Users are responsible for their own interactions with other users.
24. Intellectual Property
Tripety, including its design, software, branding, text, graphics, logos, tools, features, and other materials, is the property of Tripety LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use Tripety only as permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, resell, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without prior written permission from Tripety LLC.
25. DMCA and Copyright Complaints
Tripety respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same.
If you believe content available through Tripety infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice of claimed infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Copyright notices must include:
- Your name and contact information
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with sufficient information to locate it
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your physical or electronic signature

The physical mailing address for Tripety's designated copyright agent is on file with the U.S. Copyright Office and may be obtained through the Copyright Office's designated agent directory at copyright.gov/dmca-directory.
Tripety may remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing content, may notify the user who posted the content, and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
26. Government, Customs, Tax, and Regulatory Disclaimer
Tripety does not provide legal, tax, customs, immigration, insurance, medical, or financial advice.
Users are responsible for verifying passport rules, visa requirements, entry rules, customs declarations, tourist taxes, VAT rules, local taxes, travel restrictions, financial reporting obligations, insurance requirements, and other legal or regulatory requirements with official sources.
27. Export Compliance and Sanctions
You represent and warrant that you will not use Tripety in violation of U.S. export control laws, trade sanctions, or other applicable laws.
You represent that you are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government restricted-party list.
28. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tripety LLC expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, completeness, security, and uninterrupted availability.
Tripety does not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, operate without interruption or error, be secure at all times, or provide complete or accurate travel information.
29. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tripety LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for lost profits, lost data, loss of User Content, loss of access, loss of goodwill, travel disruptions, missed flights, denied boarding, booking problems, inaccurate information, third-party issues, service interruptions, outages, or other losses related to your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or otherwise) and even if Tripety has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tripety LLC's total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, or any other legal or equitable theory, will not exceed the greater of:
- The total amount you actually paid to Tripety LLC in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
- One hundred United States dollars ($100 USD).
This limitation of liability applies to all claims in the aggregate, not per incident.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, Tripety LLC's liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
30. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tripety LLC, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, licensors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and legal costs, arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
- Your violation of applicable law
- Your negligence or willful misconduct
Tripety LLC reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you. You agree to cooperate with Tripety's defense of any such claim. You agree not to settle any claim without Tripety LLC's prior written consent if the settlement would impose any obligation, liability, or admission on Tripety LLC.
31. Informal Dispute Resolution
Before initiating arbitration or filing a legal claim, the party raising the dispute must provide written notice to the other party describing the dispute in reasonable detail and must allow at least 30 days for the parties to attempt informal resolution in good faith.

32. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within the 30-day period described in Section 31, you and Tripety LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies and remains in small claims court.
The arbitration will take place in Gwinnett County, Georgia, unless the applicable AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules require another location or the parties agree otherwise in writing.
Filing fees, administrative fees, arbitrator compensation, and other arbitration costs will be allocated in accordance with the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and applicable law.
Class action waiver: You and Tripety LLC agree that each party may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff, class member, or participant in any class, collective, consolidated, multi-party, or representative action or proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party's individual claim.
If a court or arbitrator determines that this class action waiver is unenforceable as to a particular claim or request for relief, then that claim or request for relief (and only that claim or request for relief) will be severed from the arbitration and brought in the courts specified in Section 33.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking temporary or preliminary injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for unauthorized access, misuse of the Service, or infringement of intellectual property rights, pending completion of arbitration.
33. Forum for Non-Arbitrable Claims
For any claim not subject to arbitration under Section 32, or any claim severed from arbitration pursuant to Section 32, the exclusive jurisdiction and venue will be the state and federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
You and Tripety LLC irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
34. One-Year Claim Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service must be commenced within one (1) year after the date on which the claim or cause of action accrued, or it is permanently and irrevocably barred.
This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim sounds in contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory.
35. Force Majeure
Tripety LLC will not be liable for any delay, failure to perform, interruption, outage, data loss, or service issue caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, internet failures, telecommunications failures, hosting provider failures, cloud provider outages, payment processor outages, cyberattacks, denial-of-service attacks, government actions, court orders, regulatory actions, power failures, or any other event or cause beyond Tripety's reasonable control.
36. Assignment
You may not assign, transfer, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without Tripety LLC's prior written consent. Any attempted assignment without consent is void.
Tripety LLC may freely assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms, in whole or in part, without your consent, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, change of control, or transfer of the Service.
37. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of the original provision to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
38. No Waiver
Tripety LLC's failure or delay in exercising or enforcing any right, remedy, or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right, remedy, or provision.
Any waiver of any provision of these Terms must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Tripety LLC. A waiver of any provision on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision on any subsequent occasion.
39. Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights.
No person or entity other than you and Tripety LLC has any rights, claims, or causes of action under these Terms.
40. No Agency
Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, employment, franchise, fiduciary, agency, or representative relationship between you and Tripety LLC.
You have no authority to act on behalf of, bind, or create any obligation for Tripety LLC.
41. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Affiliate Disclosure and Travel Disclaimer, and any additional terms presented and accepted for specific features, subscriptions, or services, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tripety LLC with respect to the Service.
These Terms supersede and replace any and all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, warranties, statements, promises, or communications, whether oral or written, regarding the Service.
42. Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
43. Governing Language
These Terms are written and executed in the English language.
If Tripety provides any translation of these Terms for convenience, the English-language version is the authoritative and controlling version. In the event of any conflict, ambiguity, or inconsistency between the English version and any translation, the English version will prevail.
44. Survival
The following provisions, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive, will survive expiration, termination, cancellation, or discontinuation of your account, your use of the Service, or these Terms: Sections 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31–34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, and 44.
45. Notices
Tripety may deliver notices to you by email to the address associated with your account, by posting a notice on the website, or through the Service. Notices delivered by email are deemed received on the date the email is sent. Notices posted on the website are deemed received on the date of posting.
Legal notices to Tripety LLC, including service of process, may be directed to Tripety's registered agent on file with the Georgia Secretary of State. The registered agent address may be obtained through the Georgia Secretary of State's business records at ecorp.sos.ga.gov.
General inquiries and non-legal notices may be sent to info@tripety.com.
