Tripety LLC (“Tripety,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, how long we keep it, and what choices you may have.
We do not sell personal information.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Tripety website, user accounts, trip planning tools, saved trips, uploaded content, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
We collect information needed to operate the Service, provide accounts, save trips, process subscriptions, improve the platform, protect the Service, and communicate with users.
The information we collect depends on how you use Tripety and falls into the following categories.
2. Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, login credentials, account settings, subscription status, and account activity.
If you create an account using a third-party authentication provider such as Google Sign-In, we may receive your name, email address, profile photograph, and account identifier from that provider. This information is used to create and manage your Tripety account.
We use account information to create your account, allow you to log in, provide the Service, manage subscriptions, send service messages, and support your account.
3. Consent and Acceptance Records
When you create an account, you are required to agree to our Terms and Conditions and acknowledge this Privacy Policy. We maintain records of this acceptance, which may include your user identifier, timestamp (UTC), IP address, user agent, Terms version, Privacy Policy version, consent type, and authentication method.
These records are maintained for legal compliance and dispute resolution purposes and are retained independently of your account data. Consent and acceptance records may be preserved after account deletion.
4. Trip and User Content
When you use Tripety, you may save or upload trip-related content, including destinations, travel dates, itineraries, notes, files, images, documents, reservations, packing items, budget information, preferences, and other trip details (“User Content”).
We use this information to provide the features you request, such as saving trips, displaying itineraries, organizing travel plans, and operating planning tools.
You control what you choose to save or upload.
5. Payment and Subscription Information
Tripety offers an annual paid subscription for $29 USD per year unless a different price is shown at checkout.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
Tripety does not directly store full credit card numbers.
We may receive limited payment and subscription information from the payment provider, such as payment status, subscription status, plan type, billing amount, transaction date, customer identifier, and account-related payment details.
This information is used to manage subscriptions, confirm payments, prevent fraud, respond to billing inquiries, handle chargebacks, and provide support.
6. Usage, Device, and Analytics Information
When you visit or use Tripety, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical and usage information, including:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device type
- Operating system
- Pages visited and features used
- Referring pages and URLs
- Approximate location based on IP address
- Dates and times of visits
- Cookies and similar technology identifiers
We may use analytics and performance tools, including Google Analytics, to understand usage patterns, improve the website, identify and fix bugs, measure traffic, and improve the product.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Tripety uses cookies and similar technologies for account login, session management, security, user preferences, analytics, performance measurement, affiliate tracking, and marketing measurement.
Some cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. Other cookies may be used for analytics, performance measurement, marketing, or affiliate tracking.
Where required by law, including for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, Tripety will request consent before placing or using non-essential cookies or similar technologies.
Users can control cookies through browser settings and, where available, through Tripety's cookie consent tools.
Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain website features.
Cookie Categories
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for website operation, account login, and session management. These cookies cannot be disabled.
- Analytics Cookies: Used by tools such as Google Analytics to understand website usage and improve performance.
- Affiliate and Marketing Cookies: Used by affiliate networks and third-party partners to attribute bookings, purchases, or conversions and to measure campaign effectiveness.
8. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Save and display user trips and User Content
- Process subscriptions and payments

9. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, including hosting and infrastructure providers, database and storage providers, analytics providers, payment processors, email and communication providers, security providers, customer support tools, affiliate networks, and other vendors reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
We may also share information:
- If required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process
- To protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Tripety, our users, or others
- To prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access
- To enforce our Terms and agreements
- In connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, in which case the acquiring entity will be bound by this Privacy Policy with respect to information transferred
10. Service Providers and Data Processing
Tripety uses service providers to operate, host, secure, analyze, improve, and support the Service.
Where applicable, Tripety relies on vendor agreements, data processing agreements, data processing addenda, or similar contractual protections with service providers that process personal information on our behalf.
For payment processing, Tripety uses third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Payment providers process payment and subscription information in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies, and data processing agreements.
11. Third-Party Services
Tripety may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, analytics tools, authentication providers, hosting providers, email services, affiliate networks, booking platforms, and travel providers.
Third-party services have their own privacy policies and terms. Tripety does not control how third parties handle your information when you visit their websites, make bookings, complete purchases, or use their services.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information to them.
12. Affiliate Links and Tracking
Tripety may participate in affiliate programs or partner networks, including Expedia, Viator, Travelpayouts, and other travel-related programs.
If you click an affiliate link, a third party may use cookies, tracking links, or similar technologies to attribute the visit, booking, or purchase and to determine whether Tripety should receive a commission.
Affiliate partners and booking platforms may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies. Tripety does not control the privacy practices of third-party affiliate partners or booking platforms.
13. Email Communications
If you create an account, subscribe, contact us, or sign up for updates, we may use your email address to send account-related messages, product updates, support responses, security notices, billing notices, legal notices, or marketing emails.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the email, where available.
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send important account, billing, legal, security, or service-related messages that are reasonably necessary for the operation of the Service.
14. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information processed through Tripety.
However, no website, application, database, storage system, or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for keeping their account login information secure and for notifying Tripety promptly if they suspect unauthorized access.
15. Data Breach Notification
If Tripety becomes aware of a data security incident involving personal information that triggers notification obligations under applicable law, Tripety will investigate and notify affected users, regulators, or other required parties as required by applicable law.
The timing, method, and content of any notification will depend on the nature and scope of the incident and applicable legal requirements.
16. Data Retention, Deletion, and Aggregated Data
Tripety retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts, process subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, maintain security, and operate normal business records.
Users may request account deletion by contacting info@tripety.com.
Tripety will make reasonable efforts to process account deletion requests within 30 days of verification of the request, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup processing, tax, accounting, payment, chargeback, dispute-resolution, or technical reasons.
Following account deletion, certain information may remain in backups, logs, security records, payment records, legal records, or other business records for a limited period before being purged through normal retention cycles.
Records of terms acceptance, consent, and subscription authorization are maintained independently and may be retained after account deletion for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and chargeback defense purposes.
Tripety may retain and use anonymized, de-identified, or aggregated information that does not reasonably identify any individual user, and such information is not considered personal information under this Privacy Policy.
17. Account Inactivity
Tripety may delete, archive, restrict, or disable accounts that have been inactive for 24 months or more.
Before deleting or disabling an inactive account, Tripety will make reasonable efforts to provide notice to the email address associated with the account at least 30 days before deletion.
Tripety is not responsible for loss of data resulting from inactive account deletion.
18. Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have privacy rights under applicable law, including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”), or other federal, state, or international privacy laws.
These rights may include the right to:
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Request portability of personal information
- Request restriction of processing
- Object to certain processing activities
- Request information about how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Not be discriminated against or retaliated against for exercising privacy rights
Tripety does not sell personal information.

19. California Privacy Notice
If the California Consumer Privacy Act or the California Privacy Rights Act applies to your use of the Service, California residents may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected, to request access, deletion, and correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
Tripety does not sell personal information.
If Tripety uses advertising, analytics, or marketing tools that constitute “sharing” of personal information or “cross-context behavioral advertising” under California law, Tripety will provide applicable opt-out mechanisms where required by law.
20. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Tripety will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request where required by applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. There is currently no common industry standard for responding to DNT signals. Tripety does not currently respond to DNT signals unless required by applicable law.
21. European, UK, and International Users
Tripety is operated from the United States.
If you use Tripety from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Depending on where you are located, you may have additional privacy rights under local law, including rights related to access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent.
Where required by applicable law, Tripety will rely on appropriate legal bases for processing personal information, which may include:
- Performance of a contract (providing the Service to you)
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Legitimate interests (improving the Service, preventing fraud, ensuring security)
- Consent (where you have provided it, such as for marketing emails or non-essential cookies)
Where required by applicable law, Tripety will implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
22. Children’s Privacy
Tripety is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Where applicable law establishes a higher age of digital consent, users must meet that age threshold or have verifiable parental or guardian consent. In jurisdictions where GDPR or similar regulations apply, the applicable age of digital consent may be as high as 16.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to Tripety, please contact us at info@tripety.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action, which may include deletion of the information.
23. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and version number at the top of this policy.
We may notify you of material changes by email, website notice, or in-service notification.
Continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy is posted or communicated constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated policy.
